The author does a good job balancing the character back stories as well as the nonstop action. You can't help but feel for these characters as everyone can relate to at least one of them. There are no dull moments in this book. A very good story teller that keeps the chills running up your spine. My soft spot is for Sinley, but Teppo and Alayna have me wanting to see what becomes of them and thier compassion for others
I was a bit undecided on this book but was swung by the blurb and it proved a little gem of a read. It was well written but what really held my attention were the characters and the spirit of adventure the author manages to convey. Now, I have read this out of sequence and I will have to go back and read the first one in the series before the next is released.
This is a great book! Once i started reading, I had to force myself to put it down! Ya know for things like sleep and work. Great job intertwining so many charactors and story lines. Very well done. Also the ending leaves me anxiously waiting volume 2!! Way to go, D.M. Harris!! But , for the love of Ritza, please hurry with the next one? I'm dieing to continue!!
